Brilliant colors, crazy abstracts bubble gum pop music and hair bands. It was the 80's when I realized that being an artist is what I wanted to be.
My fascination with wet paint was one of the very things that attracted me to learning more about art. Although I am proud of all of the series I have shared with you, this new series is one that is close to my heart.
When I paint, I do so because of the process and not because of the end product. As much as I have tried to have the patience to restrain myself from using brilliant colors it has been difficult. This series shows a little bit of both of my creative outlets, painting and photography.
Each moment I paint is something that fascinates me. At times, too much as the paint will end up drying while I admire the last movement of my knife. The colors are always different and intriguing to me. Ultimately, each time I add more paint, the painting changes and this is what I enjoy so much.

I deeply appreciate the feature, Jacqueline, and this Wet Paint series as well. The image that serves as portal to the series is especially intriguing--suggesting two Martians, fresh off their UFO, sunning themselves as a means of recharging batteries before encountering earthlings!
